Ok, so we might only be half way through 2016, but my attention is already being turned to 2017, as designers unveil the previews for their 2017 planners. I’ve recently switched back to pen and paper, as I was growing nostalgic over the planners I used in school (sadly, a long time ago!). While I could tap everything into my iPhone calendar, I like to be able to see a clear diary for the week, and it brings back fond memories of ‘pencilling something in’. I’m currently using Rifle Paper Co’s Toile planner. While I’d never wish time away, let’s take a peek at some of the newest planners that are about to hit the shelves.
Rifle Paper Co.
Orlando-based Rifle Paper Co. is known for its 17-month planners and this year, they’ve expanded their format range. Now available are hardback book-cloth agendas, the classic covered spiral, in addition to the hardcover spiral design.
Ban.do is a true champion of the planner addict – making organising fun with its vibrant collection. 17-month planners seem to be popular (August 2016-December 2017), as every planner, large and small meets this format. Make a statement with their iconic ‘I am very busy‘ titles, treat yourself to daily affirmations with their ‘one day at a time‘ design, or embellish in their marble, gold foil design for extra luxury.
Handbags and purses aside, Kate Spade has been making waves in the stationery world for some time, with classic, but oh so beautiful design. Their line features copious amounts of gold, and this applies to their new 2016/2017 planners. For fans of simple, clean lines within design, but also love something special, these are perfect for you. Pick between the monochrome stripe pattern with gold foil stamp, or go for the gold polka dot design.

I discovered Kikki.K last year, and we’ve been having a paper love affair ever since they opened their first UK flagship shop in Covent Garden, London. The Australian-based, but Swedish-inspired designers have a range of planners that span June 2016-September 2017 – it was this one pictured that caught my eye. A mint green and gold foil pairing is one of my favourite things this year. Kikki.K are combining the adult colour book craze with one of their planners. It’s mindful, it’s colourful. Get it here.
If you’re looking to spend a little less, but still retain the style, head over to Paperchase and see their range. Sadly you won’t find daily affirmations or inspiring quotes to keep you going each week, but ones to note are the two featured here. Both run from July 2016-July 2017. Get a hold of the kraft/gold design here and the marble design here – both £8.
